We had a great time being in the Beaverdale parade. Thanks to Larry Stumbo, Doug Raymond, Jacob Hamms, Jordyn Meryl, and Christina Raymond for making it a grand time. We gave out 6 gross of beads, 49 pounds of candy, one lost lady’s ring, along with flyers about Iowa Author Fest this Saturday down at the Brenton Skating Plaza in downtown Des Moines. It’s 9 to 2. Free admission. There will be music for our ears, food for our stomachs, Novels for our mind, and artwork for our souls. They will be announcing the winners of the essay contest Iowa Author Fest sponsored to the Des Moines High School Students.
