Bob Dunbar

Bob W. Dunbar is a internationally known author whose work has appeared in several historical publications. Born and educated in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he spent several years living and working in the American West. He currently resides in Des Moines, Iowa. He will be reading from and speaking about his two books: To Fame’s Proud Cliff and The Holy Sabbath Morning: A Novel of the Alamo

About To Fame’s Proud Cliff
A Leader For Texas…A Hero For America
War hero… Duelist… Congressman… Brawler… Womanizer… Avenger of the Alamo.
Sam Houston was all of these things and more. In one life-time, he accomplished more than other men might have accomplished in several. Now in Bob W. Dunbar’s exciting new novel, To Fame’s Proud Cliff, readers can experience the tumultuous life of this towering, but humanly flawed American Hero.

About The Holy Sabbath Morning: A Novel of the Alamo
In the early morning hours of March 6, 1836, a ragged band of Texan freedom fighters fought to the death rather than surrender to an overwhelming army of Mexican solders. The story of that stand, and of the thirteen-day siege that preceded it, represents one of the most compelling events in American history.
Now, the reader can relive this epic story in Bob W. Dunbar’s novel, The Holy Sabbath Morning. This vivid, thoroughly researched re-creation will place the reader right in the middle of the action, right beside the heroic men— both the storied and the unsung— of both sides.

Jordyn Meryl

Once living under the guise of a passive, quiet, school librarian, books and kids were the passions which kept her mind fresh.  One day she decided to spread her wings and live the dream of her heart. As she sits in front of her computer, her fingers bring to life the voices in her head. But it is when the night muses visit Jordyn, her spirit rises up to wrap around the stories that float in her dreams.  Land locked in the mid-west she envisions days on a white sandy beach with a laptop to write all her tales.  Crossing many genres she spins chronicles of romance, paranormal and fantasy, for they are stories worth telling, even at the risk of revealing true feelings. Meryl is the author of many novels. She will be reading from her three-book series which will be available for purchase at the event: When Dreams Change, When Dreams Collide and When Dreams Die.
Life is more exciting with Alejandro, Roberto and Fernando!

Susan Raymond

Growing up on an acreage gave inspirational author/ artist Sue Raymond plenty of ideas for the next game or story to share with her siblings. Now she spins out novels to entertain for all who enjoys adventure with romance. Sue Raymond is married to her husband, Doug, and has two grown sons. She has five grandchildren who are the apple of her eye. Susan Raymond is the author of many books in several different genres: romance, a crime mystery series and fantasy under the pen name Lady Laindora.
